What's Included
Level 1 — Master the Fundamentals
Whether you're running a rifle for home defense, recreational, or both, mastering the fundamentals is the key to success — and this is where it starts. In Level 1 you'll build safe, effective rifle handling from the ground up: slings, optics, and flip-up sights, plus proper stance, grip, and the positions you need to maneuver a defensive rifle. Then lock it all in with multiple fun drills that put your new skills straight to work. Train with your own rifle using the Mantis BlackBeard laser system — zero ammo, zero range fees. Don't have a rifle? No problem — you can also use one of our custom rifles with the Mantis or the SIRT rifle training stick, both available to rent for a nominal fee.
Level 2 — Laser Training (SIRT Rifle Sticks)
Ready to take it up a notch? In Level 2, students build on everything learned in Level 1 and push their skills to the next level with more advanced, high-energy drills. You'll go from static shooting to true dynamic action — moving and shooting, hitting moving targets on the run, clearing rooms like a pro, and even stepping into a live scenario that puts all your training to the test. Train with your own rifle using the Mantis BlackBeard laser system or a SIRT laser training rifle — zero ammo, zero range fees, all the adrenaline. Don't have a rifle? No problem — you can also use one of our custom rifles with the Mantis or the SIRT rifle training stick, both available to rent for a nominal fee.
Level 3 — Live Fire
This is where it all comes together! Building on everything you've learned in Level 1 and Level 2, students will run their previous drills — this time with live fire and real recoil. We'll sight your guns in, flow through lightning-fast reloads, work position drills, handle malfunctions on the fly, transition seamlessly to your pistol, and master unconventional shooting positions. Just like Level 2, we'll push into darkness with low-light shooting that tests everything you've built. We highly recommend adding a light to your gun if you don't have one — and good news, students get special pricing on optics and accessories!

Do I need my own rifle?+
For Levels 1 and 2, you can rent a SIRT laser training rifle from us or bring your own rifle and rent a Mantis BlackBeard to drop in and train with your actual build — no live ammo required. Both the SIRT rifle and the Mantis BlackBeard are also available to purchase at a discounted rate. For Level 3, bring your own rifle, sling, eye and ear protection, and at least 200 rounds — or rent a live rifle from us for the class.
Do I need experience first?+
No. Level 1 starts from zero, so beginners are welcome. Experienced shooters may contact us to potentially start at Level 2, but Level 2 is required before Level 3.
How long is each level?+
Levels 1 and 2 are 3 hours each, and Level 3 is about 4 hours.
